About Rose City Memorials

| History | Production Plant |

Rose City Memorials Ltd., a family run business, was established in June 1983 by Robert Waldner with Art Waldner, his father, in charge of sales. The first showroom was opened in Camrose, AB and is still there today.

In 1986, a decision was made to expand and our production plant, along with a showroom, was established in Cut Knife, SK. It is here that brother Alvin joined the company and a partnership was established between Robert and Alvin. Cut Knife is also where the monuments are designed and sandblasted.

In 1991, a showroom was opened in Westlock, AB where Robert resides. Robert's wife, Florence, originally managed this office and did so until 1992, when she left to raise their children. This showroom had two other Office Managers from 1992 to 2001 when Robert's and Alvin's sister, Lydean Leimert, took on that position.

In 1995, our fourth showroom was opened in Lloydminster, SK and is still operational today. Rose City Memorials Ltd. is very proud to have celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2008 with a community Open House.

In addition to our four showrooms, we are privileged to sell our monuments through three Funeral Homes and five Memorial Counsellors located throughout rural Saskatchewan and Alberta.

We have met the memorial needs of many families in your community and would consider it a privilege to serve you.
